A STUDY OF TITAN USING THE TOOLS OF EXOPLANET RESEARCH**
Abstract
The saturnian moon Titan and various exoplanets can be studied with the tools of exoplanet research and access to observing facilities and databases. In this collaboration, we will observe Titan through techniques used for exoplanets, particularly those detections and properties from transit research, and examine the databases for objects of Titan’s size that yield data about the system. Comparison of size, temperature, orbit, atmosphere and other properties may allow one to study issues of atmospheric stability and habitability. Follow-up observations of exoplanets will be made from one-meter telescopes.
