ARTIFICAL INTELLIGENCE IN CYBERSECURITY
Abstract
This research project investigates the growing role of Artificial Intelligence in the automation of cyber-attacks and its emerging impact on modern cybersecurity. This study explores how AI models can be used to perform web application intrusions by simulating attacks against deliberately vulnerable applications. Performance metrics from these attacks are compared with traditional, manually executed intrusion techniques. In addition to laboratory simulations, the research examines real-world cases where AI has been misused for unethical or unauthorized system compromise and the risk posed by autonomous threats. The project also analyzes the adoption of AI, and the ethical issues related to AI misuse.
